🌟 Introducing Our New Adult ADHD Service! 🌟

We are excited to announce our community-based rural Adult ADHD Service is now open and accepting referrals from GPs and Nurse Practitioners.

Recent legislation changes, effective 1 February 2026, mean that ADHD screening, assessment, diagnosis and treatment are now primarily managed in primary care, and we are here to ensure adults in our community have accessible, high-quality support.

💡 Why choose us?

✅ Designed specifically for adults

✅ Accessible in rural and community settings

✅ Experienced, compassionate ADHD-trained rural GP-led team

✅ Focused on practical strategies for daily life

Referrals can be made through your GP or Nurse Practitioner. Together, we are making ADHD care more accessible, equitable, and personalised.

Change in Prescribing Rules

Important update about prescriptions
From 1 February 2026, changes to prescribing rules mean our GPs and Nurse Practitioners MAY be able to prescribe some medications for up to 12 months — following an in-person consultation and where it is safe and clinically appropriate.
This does not mean all prescriptions will automatically be for 12 months. Prescription length is always a clinical decision based on your health and your medication.

Measles is circulating in Aotearoa

Make sure you’re protected!

✅ Two doses of the measles (MMR) vaccine protect about 99% of people.
💉 The vaccine is free for everyone under 18 and for adults eligible for funded care.

Not sure if you’ve had both doses? We can help you check your records and get you up to date.
📞 Call us on 03 315 7503 to check or book.

If you have symptoms of measles such as a fever (a temperature of at least 38°C), cough, runny nose, sore red eyes, rash, please phone before coming in — measles spreads easily and we want to keep everyone safe.
